SUMMARY:Operation InAsMuch Outreach Event
DESCRIPTION:Pastors and Churches of HCBAV\, here is what we have laid out as our plan for Our Next Operation InAsMuch Day is October 11\, 2025: \nPlease let HCBAV know what you will be doing and send us a final report on your results so that we can report back to our churches and to OIAM. This year\, each church will pay the expenses of your projects and for feeding volunteers and clients. \nTo make this truly an outreach ministry\, we ask that this date be reserved for reaching out to help people outside of your church\, and choose another time (or times) to provide these same services to people of your church. \nWe suggest that you take one of three paths: \n1) Your church can coordinate your own projects\, \n2) collect items for our backpack project for the homeless\, foster-care kids\, and aging-out foster (18 yr-old) teens\, or \n3) collect items for our jail ministry Christmas Hope Packs. \n  \nPossible projects if you want to coordinate your own efforts: \n> Come up with your own idea \n> Yard Work \n> Build Handicap Ramps \n> Provide Firewood \n> Take Cookies to a Police/Fire Station Complex \n> Paint Someone’s Home \n> Run a Bible Study at an Apartment \n> Replace Smoke/CO Alarms or Batteries \n  \nThings to collect for homeless/foster-kid backpack project and/or jail ministry Christmas hope packs: \n> Toothpaste/Toothbrushes \n> Soap/Shampoo/Deodorant \n> First Aid Supplies \n> Socks/Gloves/Hats \n> Small Towels \n> Laundry Soap \n> T-Shirts \n> Small Blankets \n> Tissues \n> Water/Sunscreen \n> Other \nIn addition\, we suggest that you decide whether to provide lunches\, cold drinks\, etc. to volunteers and people being served.
