Yom HaAtzma’ut – Israel’s Independence Day

May 1

This is the day that Israel commemorates and celebrates their national independence. The actual day that Israel declared their independence was the 5th day of the Month of Iyyar on the Jewish calendar. The 1st day of May (which in 2025 is actually the 3rd day of Iyyar) was chosen as the official holiday to establish the same day each year on the more widely used Gregorian calendar.

The Day of Independence for Israel has great significance to Biblical End Times prophesies.
