Are you sure that you have the eternal hope of heaven when you die?
You CAN BE absolutely sure. In 1 John 5:12-13, the beloved apostle of Jesus Christ wrote, “The one who has the Son has the life [eternal life]; the one who does not have the Son of God [Jesus Christ] does not have the life. These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you have eternal life.” He was pleading on behalf of God, The Father, that everyone accept His gift of salvation through the death and resurrection of His Son. Why? Because “He does not want anyone to be destroyed, but wants everyone to repent,” as Peter wrote in 1 Peter 3:9.
